Child PRotection Policy

   - Eden Tennis is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of children participating in our tennis coaching programmes and services.

   - This Child Protection Policy outlines our commitment to safeguarding children and provides guidelines for all coaches, staff, and volunteers involved in our programmes.

   - All coaches, staff, and volunteers have a responsibility to promote the welfare and safety of children.

   - Coaches will receive appropriate training and support to ensure their understanding of child protection issues and best practices.

3. Code of Conduct

   - All coaches, staff, and volunteers must adhere to our Code of Conduct, which prohibits any form of abuse, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour towards children.

   - Any concerns regarding the well-being or safety of a child should be reported to the designated child protection officer or appropriate authorities.

4. Recruitment and Training

   - All coaches, staff, and volunteers working directly with children will undergo thorough background checks, including enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.

   - Regular training and updates on child protection and safeguarding practices will be provided to ensure awareness and understanding.

5. Reporting and Responding to Concerns

   - Any concerns or allegations of child abuse, neglect, or inappropriate behaviour will be taken seriously and responded to promptly and appropriately.

   - We will follow the reporting procedures outlined by the LTA and cooperate fully with relevant authorities and child protection agencies.

6. Confidentiality and Data Protection

   - All personal information related to child protection concerns will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

7. Communication and Parental Involvement

   - We will maintain open and transparent communication with parents and guardians regarding our Child Protection Policy and related procedures.

   - Parents and guardians are encouraged to report any concerns they may have regarding the well-being and safety of their child.

8. Review and Compliance
